With extensive business expertise in operations management, finance, compliance and strategic planning, Alex merges these insights with legal principles to offer clients a truly boutique experience.

Prior to law firm life, Alex spent over 10 years as a private-sector partner to the Department of Defense (DoD) and US Navy, serving  in various management and executive capacities. In these roles, Alex routinely identified operational risk (i.e., opportunities for best practices & improvement) while coordinating with leadership teams to determine and develop the most effective solutions.

With transparency in mind, Alex built the law practice to provide business stakeholders with strategic legal and compliance support.  Our priorities are simple: to empower our clients through contract-based transactions, protect their business ventures, and overcome business complexities. Of course, business growth can also be a by-product. By employing a combination of legal review, business case analysis, and objective project planning, Alex works with a team of skilled advisors to take you from startup to exit. 

Alex attended college and law school in Charleston, and currently lives in Mount Pleasant. With broad business exposure and a service-oriented approach, he regularly advises the startup community, mentors local youth, and enjoys working through novel business concepts.
