Sydney joined the Law Office of Alexandru Juncu, LLC in 2019 and supports the team in a paralegal capacity. She enjoys technical reading, identifying discrepancies, and helping our clients to become more organized.
A journalist by trade, Sydney has 15 years’ experience in reporting, research, fact checking, copy editing and interviewing. The same skills apply in her role at Juncu Legal where she conducts deep-dive research and participates in business contract reviews and meetings.

Mia Horne
Operations Manager & Business Analyst
Mia Horne is a seasoned business analyst and operations advisor. With more than 10 years in corporate data management and business planning, she joined the JuncuLegal team in early 2020 to focus on our clients’ growth initiatives. Her support has proven invaluable during these disruptive times.
In addition to helping clients to streamline their operations and reduce risk, Mia routinely dedicates her time to business process audits, industry research, and corrective action support. Along with Attorney Alex Juncu, she supports clients to implement better contracting strategies, train employees, and leverage existing resources to drive improvement. Coupled with her compliance-focused analytical approach, Mia's work reveals hidden dangers and empowers clients to make more informed business decisions.

Client Reception, Time Management Advisor
Jake has been a loyal member of the firm since 2016 and provides a strong sense of balance, which is essential for both complex business transactions and daily operations management.
As a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Jake settled into his role rather quickly - by letting us know that he will neither retrieve nor waste time on distractions. Instead, his primary focus remains on quality client interactions and effective time management.
Too many hours at the computer, and Jake reminds us to take a break, refresh the eyes, and keep the big picture in mind. With so many details in our line of work, this perspective is much needed for both client and lawyer.
